 Description: | | I purchased this 10-A for a project that I now realize I dont have time to do. It took a considerable amount of time and effort to find a unit that was both mechanically and cosmetically sound. Most of those I found had been either cannibalized, severely neglected or needed extensive/expensive repairs before being able to move under its own power again. This Tug is solid and straight with original paint and only light, minor spots of surface rust. The diesel engine runs well with all lights, brakes and transmission performing as they should. The front shocks have been removed and are stored in the tool box. Front plastic fender flares are missing. The on-board air compressor needs a new belt. For individuals unfamiliar with the 10-A, top speed is about 20 miles per hour. The state of Georgia regards this vehicle as a tractor, so they will not issue a title. This 10-A is an excellent candidate for an easy military restoration or for a creative 4X4 conversion. You should be able to do a search to get more technical specifications. |
