This is a rebuilt 47 jeep with less than 4,000 miles on the engine. I just dont drive it anymore. Jeep is in Stemaboat Springs Colorado.
Owned this jeep for 20+years. I put the rebuilt flat head four init in the mid 1980s then it just sat until 2002. I sold it to the neighbor to rebuild it. He did and then sold it back to me 5 years ago.
WHen he rebult it it was tore down to the frame and drive train. About $1500 in parts were put into it including guages, seats, ujoints, elec wiring harness,stering assembly, body mounts, seals as needed, new brakes, new windshield, wheel bearings, new carb, after market heater, wheel bearings, wipers and new fluid through out. About the only thing not rebuilt was the tranny, transfer case and axles. All these are still working fine. The frame is in excellent condition and repainted. the body is in good condition and repainted. There is new sheet metal rivieted to the hood and left kick panel. |
