 Description: | Completely custom 1974 CJ 5 ready for the sand. Rebuilt from the ground up. It sits on 35 X 17.5 Mickey Thompson Bajas with 15 X 14 MT rims. The axles are from an 86 CJ7 (Dana 30 & AMC20) Disc brakes in the front, drum in the rear. The rear axle has been upgraded to a solid one piece. Custom lift with the front shackles reversed. 3 inch body lift. Dual Rancho RS 5000 shocks all around including stabilizers.
A Flaming River tilt steering column bolts to an upgraded AGR power steering box and pump. Currie rockjoc tie rods. Grant steering wheel.
3000 miles on Chevy 350 bored .30 over with RV cam. Edelbrock intake with Holley 4 barrel. Flow Kooler water pump and DUI distributor with Live Wires Mean Green starter with solenoid relocated to fender. Bow tie headers, duel exhaust with glass packs. 4 core radiator with Flexlite fan. New Red Top battery. 3 speed manual transmission.
Body has 3M undercoating and Rhino liner inside. Fender flares. Kentrol 304 stainless mirrors, hood kit, wiper motor cover, gas fill and entry guards. Full cage, racing seats with red inserts (not shown) 5 point harness. Cage is set up for 4 KC lights (prewired) and is fully padded. Custom dash with toggle switches and oversized glove box. Vacuum gauge and tac added. Kenwood stereo with remote and 6 disk changer. Custom speaker box with two amps, 10subs and storage compartment. Mids and highs in dash. ALL SPEAKER NEED TO BE REPLACED.
Custom front and rear bumpers made with schedule 40 3 pipe. Both have receiver hitches. The front incorporates a 8000 Warn winch. Chrome nerf bars. |
